There is a direct bus from the airport to Regensburg, which takes about 1 hour and costs DM 25 per one way trip. In Regensburg, the bus stops at the main railway station. This "Flughafenbus" leaves from the airport at the following hours: 8:15am, 11:00am, 2:30pm, 5:30pm, 7:30pm, 10:30pm, 12:30am. If this schedule does not fit your needs, you might take the railway. A public bus leaving right outside the airport takes you to nearby Freising railway station, about 15 minutes away.
