Location. The All inclusive Hotel Sunrise is located in the centre of the lively Lloret de Mar resort, within 200 metres of the beach.
Hotel Features. A modern property, the Hotel Sunrise has views over the pool and tree lined terraces. As well as the outdoor pool, there is a children's pool and indoor pool. Spa facilities include a jetted tub, Turkish bath and sauna. Other hotel amenities include laundry facilities, complimentary Internet connections and parking (surcharge).

The Sunrise Restaurant is typically Spanish in style and serves international dishes for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The poolside Bar Tropical serves snacks and drinks and features live music, a mobile disco and flamenco shows. The all inclusive, full board and half board rates include some drinks, snacks and meals.

In high season there are organised children's activities. There is a miniature golf course at the hotel, while nearby activities include horse riding, golfing and water sports.

Guestrooms. There are 180 guestrooms built over six floors which are simply decorated with white painted walls and pale wood floors complimented by brightly patterned soft furnishings. All open out onto balconies, and feature satellite television, safes and direct dial telephones. Bathrooms include bidets and handheld showers. The hotel offers all inclusive, full board and half board rates.

Expert Tip. Before the arrival or tourism, Lloret de Mar was the place that Catalan families went for the summer. This consolidated a traditional form of cooking in which fish played a leading role. This is still in evidence today, most obviously in the local fish stew, Suquet. Be sure to try it, it's delicious.

Distance to Sunrise Hotel is 40 kilometres, approximately 40 minutes drive.

Getting there. Taxis are available from the taxi rank located in front of the terminal building. There are regular bus services to and from Girona and Barcelona and also to the hotel. The bus stops are located in front of the terminal building. A bus to Lloret costs 8 EUR per person and terminates at the Lloret de Mar bus station. From here it is a taxi ride or 20 minute walk to the hotel. Prices are subject to change.

Getting around. There are different options for getting around Lloret, but given the short distances involved, the best way to explore the town is on foot. Taxi services, municipal buses and other forms of tourist transport are also available.
